Discover climbing, community and connection in Kinlochleven,
at the heart of the Highlands.
Adventure starts here
Point Five will be more than an ice climbing centre. It will be a place where people come together to move, connect, and experience the Highlands in a whole new way.
Set in Kinlochleven’s former smelter, the centre will bring bouldering, sport and ice climbing under one roof, alongside a welcoming café, soft play, and community spaces.
Whether you’re dreaming of your next climb, planning a family day out, or simply curious about what’s coming, we’d love you to follow the journey and maybe be part of shaping what comes next.

What we're planning

Climbing
From bouldering circuits to lead routes and our signature indoor ice wall, Point Five offers year-round climbing for every level.

The Smelter Cafe
Our café is a cosy spot to grab a coffee, enjoy a hearty meal, or catch up after a climb. Open to everyone.

Soft Play
A safe, fun-packed space designed for younger explorers to run, jump, and play.

Community spaces
Our upstairs spaces are designed for connection - from workshops and wellbeing sessions to local events and quiet catch-ups.
Follow the journey. Be part of the story.
Where is Kinlochleven
Tucked between Glencoe and Ben Nevis, Kinlochleven sits at the end of a dramatic sea loch in the West Highlands of Scotland. It’s a village with a rich industrial past, surrounded by towering peaks, rushing rivers and some of the most spectacular scenery in the country.
Kinlochleven is a stop on the famous West Highland Way, a gateway to adventure for walkers, climbers and mountain lovers. It’s also the perfect base for exploring the outdoors – and now, for indoor climbing too.
Whether you’re visiting for a day, a weekend, or just sheltering from the Highland weather, Point Five offers a new way to experience this remarkable place.
